Is there a movie you’d like us to review?
Do you have a favorite flick that you want to share with the world?
Would you rather have us waste 2 hours watching a movie to tell you if it is decent enough to watch so you don’t waste your time watching it?
Do you like waffles?
If any of these apply to you please send us a comment and request a movie for us to review. We’ll do our best to sit through whatever crap you’ve decided we need to see and let the world know what we thought. Heck, if we pick your movie we might even let you be a guest commentator, or give you some other fabulous prize!
do otis! and books of blood
The Orphanage (2007) Produced by Guillermo Del Toro
I luv Guillermo del torro have you seen devil’s backbone? thats an older one by him but very good
Alex, to your comment about Lindsey Lohan’s role in Machete I thought she was perfect for the part, druggie slut brat- see she didn’t even have to act, she was a natural.
This is Tim, and Julia makes a good point.
Ok, I don’t have the nerve to just watch it, so I want you guys to give me the take. Then I will decide if it’s worth my time. The movie is Teeth, I am still not sure I would be able to watch it either way, I just want surrogate eyes.
Teeth isn’t AS gross as you might expect, but there are one or 2 pretty horrible scenes. A very watchable movie though, and better than Human Centipede. I think Alex has seen it too, but I don’t know if he agrees with me.
Please reveiw the Re-Animator. And try not to use so many big words in your reveiws!
Aren’t you a bit tall to be requesting reviews? I Love Re-Animator, so I just have to talk Alex into it. Thanks for checking us out, and sorry about the big words.
Don’t forget – From Beyond
Ok, guys, here are my suggestions:
1. The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh (Are you a Dr.J fan?)
2. Blackula (Black 70’s version of Dracula)
3. Used Cars (since you are on a Kurt Russell kick)
Enjoy your blog!
I know of the Fish that saved Pittsburgh due to a rowdy game of balderdash. I have Blackula on VHS somewhere, and Used Cars I don’t think I’ve seen. It has been more of a John Carpenter kick, but since he went on a Kurt Russell kick, I guess it’s only fair. Also be warned we have one more of that dynamic duo coming up. Big Trouble In Little China.
Hehehehe! I would like to request “I’m Still Here” directed by Casey Affleck. I’m guessing you will need a hazmat suit for this turd, but I could be wrong. Also, “Cronos” directed by Guillermo Del Toro. I wonder if I will need to be in a specific mood to enjoy it.
You need to see Used Cars. Suggestions for reviews: “Q”, They Live, Repo Man (1984)
The In-Laws (1979)
Serpentine!!
How about Hell Comes to Frogtown? Another Roddy Piper Blockbuster!
It’s on like donkey kong!
I’d like to put forth a couple of suggestions fer you fools:
1) Lesbian Vampire Hunters
2) Repo Man (with Anthony Stewart Head)
3) Cloverfield
that is all fer now:)
Wasn’t Anthony Head in Repo: The Genetic Opera? I’ve seen lesbian vamp huters, that would be a good review – we’ll put it in out queue. – Alex
ooops. yep. i messed up the name… it twas the Genetic Opera:)
Frogs! I saw this on fancast and hate to admit but I really kind of liked it
oooooooooh… what about Trick R Treat?
Dig deeper we already reviewed it!
mother effer
I would like to request a review. How about “Cyrus” with John C. Reilly and Jonah Hill. It’s a quirky comedy. Review it, you reviewy bitches.
It’s on! Just be ready for us to hate you for it.
Black Snake Moan
You should review my childhood favorite, “Moster Squad”.
Also from the same film maker, “Night of the Creeps”.
I do like waffles.
P. S. – Watch the Unrated “Bitch Slap” movie. Not that it’s good, or anything.
Oh two of my favorite movies!! We will have Monster Squad up shortly after we finish Black history month
p.s. I was talking about Night of the Creeps and Monster Squad, Alex said Bitch slap wasn’t good.
the trailer for Bitch Slap let me to believe that there would be tons of nudity…no such luck, thought it was silly good. there were comical cat noices whenever a chick was punched in the crotch though.
You need to check out puppet master vs demonic you. Corey Feldman at his best/worst.
It is now in our Review Q. So be ready for revenge…..
K, so you wanted favorites from when we were kids? I have a few.
1. Army of Darkness. Yeah, we weren’t really kids, we were like…um…13 but still, whatever. Bruce Campbell, that’s all I’m saying.
2. Little Monsters. I watched it like 100 times because I was lovin’ Fred Savage.
3. Labryinth. I’m sure it’s just as awful as I remember but it’s Bowie, in spandex, with Muppets.
4. Spaceballs. I was an odd child.
Michelle, Labryinth is our our list. the others might be a little too popular for our style, but are great movies none the less. – Alex
Awww…..Spaceballs is popular? Dang it. I was so wierd back in the day to like that. lol! Awesome about Labryinth though. I ❤ that movie. Bowie was awesome as the Goblin King.
You need to see Antichrist it is a seriously messed up movie. Plus Willem Dafoe.
Willem Dafoe? ‘Nuff Said.
Where can I find this movie….??
netflix, it might even be streaming.
we have a dafoe movie in the works right now actually.. comming out this month.
Excalibur – I had seen parts of it over the years but never managed to stand watching the entire thing. When I last saw it I was surprised with who was in it. When I went to verify that was the same Helen Mirren as in the Queen, etc I saw something about Mirren being the only woman in movies to do a nude shot in 5 different decades (not sure how true that is but I saw on the internet so must be true)
The cast is awesome, and the movie is a bit long, and very strange. Same director as “Deliverance” I believe…..
I’ve seen the movie Galaxy Quest and love it. What do you guys think?
That movie is so good!!!
I have three suggestions, Hackers, Sneakers, and Lord of Illusions. Two for the Nerdgasm file and a Clive Barker that is one of my favorites.
Lord of Illusions?! Scott Backula, noooooooooooooo!
I request a review of “Devil”. I just watched it and am wondering what you two jerk-offs would think of it. I thought it was one of the worst movies I’ve seen since “CRAP: The Movie”. Which means, Tim will probably like it. Oh snap!
I will wait till we post to tell you what I think. Until then, I hate you.
Are you really reviewing that one? Oh man, if you end up liking it I will kill your first born.
to make up for that last request, how about doing a review of Field of Dreams. Its a movie that fits this time of year.
Probably a little too popular for our blog, but we appreciate you wanting to make amends. How about a Major League sequel for April, which just so happens to be sequel month.
Basket Case & Basket Case 2 (if you are still doing sequels)
actually Basket Case is coming up next month!
I would like you to review Steel Magnolia or Dying Young any really good Julia Roberts movie will do.
If you are trying to tell us you are dying, then fine we will do it as a Make a Wish thing, otherwise we will do it for Alex’s wedding anny.
Alien vs. Ninja or Alien vs. Hunter.
The star ratings on Netflix are deceiving….Prince of Persia had 4 stars so we watched it, and it was horrible. So these movies could really be about a .5/5.
I came across this trailer when I was on youtube and thought it might be up your guys alley. Let me know what you think. It’s called “Playmaker” with Colin Firth.
P.S. This trailer has boobies in it. 🙂
The Last Lovecraft
Just watched it last week. I’ll make tim watch it and we’ll get that up.
Movies at GenCon I won’t get to see, 😦 busy gaming Yea! :). But I think you guys should get to watch – Cannibal! The Musical, Beverly Lane, Paranormal Investigators, and the short Leah NOT Leia.
Birthday Girl. Nicole Kidman.
Witch theme! Burn baby, burn!
The Thing – the original and John Carpenters are both horror classics! Can’t believe anyone thinks they can do better.
We actually did this one already, it was part of a John Carpenter theme, but as always thanks for your suggestions.
Be Kind Rewind!
I probably enjoyed this more than most, but this is about as sweet/sentimantal of movie that I like.
Student Bodies!!
Demon Wind, it’s available in its entirety on YouTube.
Can you give Darkman a spin?
I need to watch this again, I saw it years ago and hated it, but I love all the parties involved, you may have just given me the reason I needed- Tim
Cool, and if you haven’t given Troll 2 a try, you gotta see it! It is the Best, Worst movie of all-time!
Look in our archives, we have nailed that bad boy already!-Tim
Student Bodies!
Last Action Hero
Pitch Perfect
