It’s summertime, and there are two things that are guaranteed to happen every summer: (1) Alex and Tim will decide that any beach is a nude beach if they’re not wearing any swimsuits & (2) there are going to be some crazy good movies released!  Here are the movies that The Men are looking forward to the most –

Green Lantern  (6/17) – If you’re not into the comic book genre, you’re probably sick of all the hype this movie is getting. If you’re fanboys like us you love all of the hype this movie is getting.  We’ll see if this movie is as good as it looks, but with Ryan Reynolds in the lead, we’re sure it will at least be entertaining.

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows: Part 2  (7/15) – We’re anxious to see how this all plays out after eight movies: will Ron get that sex change he’s always wanted or do Ginny and Luna finally get together?  I guess we’ll have to wait and see. (FYI – Tim keeps all of his Horcruxes in his butt!)

Captain America: The First Avenger (7/22) – Shrimpy Steve Rogers get all juiced up and turned into a super-soldier where he has to battle that Nazi bastard – The Red Skull.  This one is hard to judge based off of the trailers, but if they stick with what worked on Thor and Iron Man, this might be alright.

Cowboys & Aliens (7/29) – You’ve got James Bond and Han Solo fighting beings from another planet, in the old West.  What about that doesn’t sound awesome to you?

Rise of the Planet of the Apes (8/5) – James Franco hopes to undo the near-death of this franchise at the hands of Marky Mark and Tim Burton ten years ago.  This flick focuses on how those damn dirty apes came to be just so damned dirty.

30 Minutes or Less (8/12) – With a cast like Danny McBride, Jesse Eisenburg, Nick Swardson & Aziz Ansari it’s hard to imagine this bumbling robbery movie as not being hysterical.

Fright Night (8/19) – We both love the horror comedy from the 80’s, although this looks to be a lot darker; but as long as McLovin says “Brewster, you’re so cool” and turns into a wolf, we are on board.

What movie are you looking forward to most this summer (it’s the Smurfs isn’t it? We know it’s the Smurfs)? Leave us a comment and let us know!
